Orange Shirt Day: Community Beading Workshop

September 22, 2026 @ 10:30 am - 1:30 pm
Free

Orange Shirt Day, also known as the National Day of Truth and Reconciliation, is observed every year on September 30, and throughout September. In this workshop, led by Shelley Bourgeois, we come together in the spirit of community building and reflection, and to honour both the victims and survivors of residential schools.

Participants will learn how to bead an orange shirt pin that they can wear on Orange Shirt Day. Please note, the beaded pins take 2+ hours to complete.

This program is free and open to 14+. Materials are provided. Bring reading glasses and snacks if needed!

Donations are welcome to help cover the cost of supplies.

Space is limited. Please RSVP below.
